Not dated but I got this with a large number of Extension Service Ag pamphlets, etc. from the late 1930’s-early 1950’s. VG condition with a couple of small insect holes at the centerfold.
These pieces promoted coal-burning and oil-burning poultry brooders designed to raise baby chicks. The smaller piece repeats the main advertising slogan“Save Your Baby Chicks with Newtown Colony Brooders.”.
Check it out…Here’s a very cool approximately 3 1/2″ wide by 2″ tall business card from a 1930-40s Era cattle & poultry dealer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -The card features the image of a bull at top & reads: “Benj. Weiner Licensed Dealer in Fresh & Slaughter Cattle Calves Poultry, etc. 5119 No F Street Philadelphia, Pa.” with the phone number “Jefferson 2759” written at top and is blank on back -The card is in good condition with usual wear and soiling expected from age and normal use- These throwaway items are often the hardest to find- How many of these survived?
