This vintage booklet and memo book from 1899 advertises Swift’s Lowell Fertilizers. The booklet contains 96 pages with information on proper fertilizer usage and the benefits of their product followed by lined pages for notes. About half a dozen pages have notes in pencil and on one page someone is practicing their writing. It is clean and crisp and measures 6 & 3/4″ by 3 & 1/2″. It is in amazingly good condition with a bit of age darkening but no damage. It is stamped at the bottom by Demeritt Verney & Doane of Alton, New Hampshire who must have distributed this book. This is a unique piece of agricultural advertising history from the United States. .
