This lot includes: 1953 brochure on Nicholson’s Type SSM Improved “Sherwood” Self Lift Tractor Cultivators, 4 page pamphlet measuring about 8″ x 5″ per page. 1952 brochure on Nicholson’s Rear Tool Bars, three panel foldout brochure measuring about 6.5″ x 5.5″ per page. 1953 brochure on Nicholson’s Type T.M.K. Tractor Distributor, 4 page pamphlet measuring about 11″ x 7″ per page. This vintage original brochures are all fully complete and intact and in very good condition with moderate handling wear and slight toning from age. Overall condition is very good. Great vintage advertising piece from Successful Farming Data Solutions, not sure if this is the same company that produced Successful Farming Magazine, this magazine has been around since 1902. This compass likely dates from the 1990’s to early 2000’s. Heavy and well made, manufactured by Stanley, marked Stanley London on face. Engraved with “Successful Farming Data Solutions” on brass rim. This is an original vintage c.1930s catalog type brochure on Nicholson’s Type CMK Improved Disc Feed Artificial Manure Distributor spreader. This brochure is a booklet format of 16 pages measuring about 5.5” x 3.5”. These spreaders were made in Newark, Nottinghamshire ironworks in the UK by W.N. Nicholson & Sons Ltd. This brochure is nicely illustrated and has detailed information on these spreaders. I don’t find a date but I think this was produced in the 1930s or 1940s. This brochure is fully complete and well intact. Staples are just a trifle rusty and there is a dealer ink stamp on the cover. Overall condition is otherwise very good for this vintage original.
