This is an original antique 1916 catalog type brochure on the Iron Age Trucker’s Variety Machine published by the Bateman Manufacturing Company of Grenloch, New Jersey. This brochure is a booklet format of eight pages folding open to about 8” x 9”. . The Iron Age Trucker’s Variety Machine could be configured to work as a Row Maker, Planter of Corn, Beans and Peas, Cotton Planter, Peanut Planter, Asparagus Ridger, Side Dressing Machine and Row Marker for market garden farmers. This brochure is nicely illustrated and has lots of detailed information. The brochure isn’t dated but indicates the company had been in business 80 years which would date this to around 1916 since the Bateman Mfg Co was established in 1836.
