FISKE Iron Works cast iron hitching posts, as they once were sold at 78 and 80 Park Place, New York. (See scans) $42 in the 1800’s would be the equivalent of many hundreds of dollars today, so these were expensive items when new. This image would look great matted and framed in your office!
