For your consideration is an antique leather bound pocket sizedledger from the Bacon, Peterson & Co. Live Stock CommissionDealers 58-60 Exchange Building / Union Stock Yards, Chicago. This little ledger has a calendar in the back dated 1916-1917. It ispartially filled with the types and numbers of cattle sold along withprices written in pencil. Condition is poor. This little booklet saw much use in what nowdoesn't exist anymore. The Chicago stockyards were dismantledaround 1971. Of interest is the second page which lists all therailway and passenger stations. There are page rips/ tears/toning and foxing spots. Still a fascinating look into Chicago'spast. Please see photos. SHIPPING TO CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY
